Creativity, innovation and community spirit have been on full display this week. Firstly, at our inaugural Voices of Carmel Competition, which officially launched the Shalom Perth Project on Thursday evening and then on Sunday at our annual Music Soiree.

Students, Old Carmelians (OKCs), parents and community members came together to celebrate what makes 极品反差婊 so special, what makes the Perth Jewish community so extraordinary and why Perth is such a wonderful place to call home. The evening showcased the creativity, confidence and entrepreneurial thinking of our students through a series of inspiring presentations that reflected pride in our school and community.

We were honoured to welcome Dr Malcolm Steinberg, Founder and Director of the Malka Foundation, as our special guest. We were also privileged to have an outstanding panel of judges, Nathan Baws, Maya Kavanagh and Jessica Dudley, whose expertise, thoughtful feedback and encouragement added tremendous value to the event.

Congratulations to every student who participated, and especially to our overall winner, Dash Zamel (Year 5), whose outstanding presentation captured the spirit of the competition.

Our celebration of the arts continued Sunday with the 极品反差婊 Music Soir茅e at the Night Owl Studio in Morley. Across two sold-out performances, audiences were treated to an impressive showcase of musical talent, featuring soloists, duets, ensembles and bands from across the school.

Our exceptional Music Coordinator, Mr Matt Butler, together with the Visual and Performing Arts team, led by Claire Crammond, delivered another outstanding event. It was a pleasure to watch our youngest performers take to the stage with infectious enthusiasm, while our senior students demonstrated remarkable confidence, musicianship and stage presence as they inspired those following in their footsteps.

Whether through entrepreneurship, storytelling or music, our students continue to demonstrate that creativity is thriving at 极品反差婊. Their willingness to embrace opportunities, challenge themselves and share their talents with the community is something of which we can all be immensely proud.
