It is the most exciting week of the year – students returning to campus!

Teachers have been preparing for their classes, ground-staff have been completing a list of upgrades to facilities and our administrative teams have been completing the systems and processes necessary to give the students the very best of starts to the 2026 school year.

What I am particularly excited about is the positivity and optimism in our school community, in the Perth Jewish community. While we have been challenged by national and international events, we continue ‘let the light in and let the light shine brightly’. We do this through trust in one another, through relationships and by maintaining the connections which nourish us.

So when the students come home this week, when they sit at the Shabbat table or even when you have them ‘trapped on the car ride as you are schlepping them from place to place’, encourage them to share their positive experiences, their successes and the things they enjoyed most; importantly try to support but also redirect them if they get off track or start speaking ill of others. Over time, through your guidance, you will see remarkable growth in your children and collectively, we will have a flourishing vibrant atmosphere; an environment that develops outstanding young men and women; ¼«Æ··´²îæ» Graduates!
