I am currently preparing communications that will be sent to all families at 极品反差婊 regarding the upcoming social media restrictions that take effect for all children under 16 years of age from December 10, 2025. To support this, I am taking the opportunity to re-shape our Mobile Phone policy and practice. This will ensure that our students optimise their learning by being present and engaged during lessons and during break times with their peers. My target is for students to have a full 8 hours where they feel no need to check messages or feel the need to reply immediately.

I encourage our community to re-assess how we communicate and use our mobile phones, such that we too may set a good example for students. For example, parents will be asked to refrain from communicating with their children during the school day; allowing them time to navigate challenges that may arise. This builds resilience and helps with decision making and maturity. Should a matter be urgent we will communicate with you directly or your child may use the phone at reception to call you. Similarly, parents may call reception and we will ensure your child receives your message.

In considering the home environment, I urge parents to consider setting a time when your child鈥檚 mobile device is 鈥榦ff and away鈥� and in particular, it is out of the bedroom. Messaging after 8pm delays sleep and from my experience the content of the students messaging deteriorates rapidly as the night goes on.

Together, we can have a positive impact on the lives that our children live; lives which I hope are filled with activity and intrigue, friendship and fun!
