Our听Novices听debate team, Sarah G, Rachel B, Hannah S, Maya F, Matthew R and Aaron L听(mostly听Year 7s who have never debated before) have won all three of their debates so听far听this debating season,听despite having a postponement due to COVID lockdown and having to prep for two topics at once.听听

听The Juniors, Sofia K, Asher R, Jordan R, Michael Y, Ariella S and Naomi K,听have won two debates and听narrowly lost on their first impromptu debate ever on a very hard topic.听

We have two more rounds to go and I鈥檓 super excited to see how they go听for听the rest of the season!听

Aviya S听is听currently in Tasmania听with the Australian Schools Debating Competition. They听have lost in a split decision against Victoria,听won unanimously against the Northern Territory听and听have听lost in a close split decision against Victoria听the last two days.听
