Starting Term 1, 2026, this is a full-time ongoing position. The successful candidate will have experience teaching Years 11 and 12 ATAR Physical Education Studies courses, leadership experience would be preferred but not essential. This is an on-going position with the School, with a 6-month probation period.

Skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Education with qualifications in Health, Physical Education, and/or Outdoor Education.
- Highly knowledgeable in both content and pedagogy.
- Demonstrated success in curriculum leadership and program coordination.
- Managed Learning Area documentation, including risk assessments, budgets, inventories, and program outlines.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire staff within a collaborative and high-performing team.
- Experienced in leading outdoor education programs, camps, or experiential learning initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a capacity to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Commitment to the ethos, values, and community life of ¼«Æ··´²îæ».
- Ensure safe practices and full compliance with risk management, child safety, and duty of care requirements in all physical and outdoor activities.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and external providers regarding Learning Area activities.
- Ensure all camps, excursions, and programs meet school policy and relevant legislative requirements.
- Contribute to strategic planning and reporting as required by the School Leadership Team.
- TRBWA accreditation to teach in a WA school.
Additional Requirements
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s licence and bus licence and willingness to drive school vehicles as required.
